About Tilly
Bella is extremely sweet and friendly but is a breed not for just anyone. Destructive when bored, highly intelligent and eager to please she needs a committed owner who will take her to obedience training and give her LOTS exercise to keep her happy. Bella has had limited socialisation in the past, especially with groups of people and other animals, she will need to continue to work on learning her doggie manners to ensure she grows into a well behaved adult.
Bella is also deaf, her new owner will need to be willing to help Bella understand hand signals and be aware of dangers, such as traffic that Bella will not hear.
Due to Bella's light colouration she is prone to skin cancer and needs an owner who has a sun smart lifestyle. Bella will need to be kept in the shade or indoors as much as possible in the summer months, and have pet safe sun screen applied to her nose and ears regularly. We also recommend that Bella gets 6 monthly check ups on her skin with a veterinarian, to ensure any early signs of skin cancer can be caught and treated.

Taking on a pet is a long-term commitment. Before adopting it is essential to research what type of animal would best suit your home and lifestyle.
All animals waiting for a new home can be found on the shelter website, or by visiting the shelter in person. All animals available for adoption are ready to be adopted straight away.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Campaspe Animal Shelter is making some operational changes, in place from Friday, 27 March.
Our team of staff and volunteers will continue to care for all animals at the shelter. Access to our services will now be by appointment only:
- Adoptions
Monday to Friday we will have two sessions a day available
10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Saturday and Sunday
10am – 12pm
- All other services such as, surrenders, stray animals, reclaims and microchipping
o Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm
o Friday 10am – 4.45pm
o Saturday 9am – 1pm
o Sunday and public holidays 10am – 12.30pm
