About Aspen ~ beautiful Cattle x pup (On Trial 15/3/20)
My name is Aspen! I am a healthy little 7 week old, male Australian Cattledog x pup and I love everything about life! I am a busy little pup with a huge happy personality.
My foster family call me ‘Aspen the Brave’ because I’m always trying to wrestle with my brother, hassle my foster brother, climb trees and/or outdoor furniture!
I am used to being in a busy household and would do well in a family that have other dog/s or someone who is home with me, so I don't get lonely. It is important for me to be a part of your family so being inside when you are home would be good.
I will grow to a medium sized dog and will need secure fencing and adequate room to run to ensure I do not become destructive. I will grow to be a high energy dog and will need to get plenty of exercise. My new family will also have to have a good understanding of the mental and physical stimulation needs of my breed, and the importance of continuing to work on my training and socialisation to allow me to develop into an awesome all-round dog. I am still learning all my basic manners so Puppy School would be great for me.
I will be a wonderful family dog and I'm suitable for children 7 years and older.
I cannot wait to join my forever family!

Aspen’s adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.
As Aspen is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
Aspen will not be ready to go to his new home until he is 8 weeks old (5th March 2020).
Aspen’s brother Arlo is also up for adoption.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
