About Aysha
*is trialling her new home*aysha is just delightful! she is very good company and very well behaved. She enjoys walking for up to an hour (more if you rest at the park in between) twice a day. She plays fetch and can run really fast despite only having three legs. She gets a lot of sympathy from random people who see that she has the missing leg but really, she is just like any other dog. She can do everything they can, except ‘shake paws’ or ‘high five’!
aysha would suit a home with a family as she is very good with children. She loves human company so maybe wouldn’t enjoy being left alone all day, unless there was another dog that she got along with. She is happy to walk for an hour at a time twice a day. She doesn’t mind going out in the rain either! she prefers to be on the right hand side of whoever is walking her as she can sometimes lose her balance (due to her missing leg) if she is on their left side. Aysha loves to have her daily walks and if she is walked in the morning, she likes to sleep and rest until the afternoon/evening walk, although she will play in between if invited to. She is amazing at sticking to the rules so long as you are consistent and if she does go somewhere she isn’t supposed to be, a calm click of the fingers will see her leaving and going back to where she is allowed. Aysha has only barked once during the last week and that was when she saw her reflection in a window, when it was dark outside. We took her to the window and she had a little look and then settled down in her bed again. She doesn’t bark or whimper when she outside, however, does prefer to be with you.
