ABOUT SAMMY

Hi, I'm Sammy. I'm not like all the other Border Collies, I am a hairy little zen master, trapped in the body of a 7 year old Border Collie. I don't chew, don't dig and don't escape. I am just happy to be with you, supervising your gardening as I sit under a tree, or chasing pesky waves at the beach.

I was originally purchased as a farm dog, and let's just say, I made a lot of friends with the cows, sheep and chooks. I didn't actually do much work, it was all play. So, I was fired and ended up a much loved pet.

I took up running and walking for pure enjoyment and love to meet anyone that we come across. Unfortunately, my newest owner has been diagnosed with a life threatening condition and she can no longer look after me, and I know this makes her heart-broken.

I am looking for a fur-ever home, one that I can just be part of the family and enjoy your love and affection, walks or runs and the odd car ride. I have been trained to know sit, stay, up, bed, outside and am a very quick learner. I am also house trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and wormed.
