About Ned
Ned and his Dad are FREE to adopt to the perfect home. Please read their full profile to understand this amazing duo.
If you're looking for the sweetest ginger duo in all the land, look no further.
Ned and his Dad are just too cute. Ned likes to suckle on his Dad's leg for comfort and it's just the sweetest thing ever.
These boys need a home with committed, patient, loving humans who will love them without expectations.
Ned and his Dad are very shy chaps. We know they will become loving, affectionate fellows in their own time but that might be weeks or months in the future. And we can't say how friendly they might become - they may always be a bit aloof and reserved. It's hard to predict.
What we know, is that these boys deserve love. They deserve a chance to live happily and comfortably in a place all of their own.
They need a home where they will be strictly indoor-only or have access to a secure cat run.
Ned's Dad is FIV positive, so it's important that he isn't allowed outside. And it would be mean to let Ned outside without his best buddy.
Because of their close and loving relationship, it's highly unlikely that Ned will ever contract FIV from his Dad (more info about FIV can be found here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/library/articles/caring-for-cats-with-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv)
At the present time, they're both in terrific health.
Ned is around 14 weeks old and we believe his Dad is about 4 years, though it's hard to say for sure. We do know that he's been out on his own in the world for a while. His unique bent ear is a relic of an old injury that never received treatment and has healed in a little fold.
Ned has a loud, insistent meow when he wants food (which is often!) He is playful and inquisitive and once he gets to know you he's very affectionate.
At the moment his Dad is very reserved and quiet. He enjoys gentle pats but mainly just wants a relaxed place he can hang out in.
These boys will take time to settle into their new home, as we've said. But they are just gorgeous and so very deserving.
They can live with other pets, pending an appropriate introduction. A home with kids would be okay but any children need to understand that it's going to take a lot of time before Ned and his Dad become their friends.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
They are available to adopt FEE-FREE and are both desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea/worm treated.
