Maisy

Hi everybody, my name is Maisy. My foster family say my name is very appropriate as they think I am totally amazing! Everyone who meets me says I am very pretty and they love my super spotty ears.

I am a young and inquisitive girl who loves to be around people and other dogs. So much so, that I would take myself to the pound where I used to live so I could hang out with the Ranger and the dogs that they had there.

When I first came into care I was a little timid and shy when experiencing new things. However I love to learn and have quickly discovered so many fun and exciting activities with my fur sister and foster family, and I am becoming more confident by the day. I have already learnt to sit, I wait very patiently for my dinner, I am learning to walk on a lead and sleep through the night on my own bed. I really enjoy learning new things and hope that whoever adopts me keeps on providing me with training.

I would love it if my forever home allowed me to be an inside/outside girl and curl up at your feet while you watch TV. I am very gentle and super affectionate with all of the people I have met. I love giving and receiving snuggles, they are the best! I have a very energetic fur sister at home who I love playing with and I have been very friendly to all of the other dogs that have met. If nobody is home during the day, it would be great if you had another doggo friend that I could hang out with. I'd also love some cool toys to play with to keep me occupied. I haven’t met any cats or been close to any birds yet.

In my current home there are 6ft fences, but I have made no attempt to try and get out. As I am quite a tall girl, fences like these are probably a good idea. I love going on drives in the car even though at first jumping into the car seemed scary, I realise now that it is super fun and poke my nose out the window into the breeze. While I spend a lot of time curled up on my bed snoozing it would be great if my new family would take me for a walk or a run along the beach or at the park on a regular basis.
