Hello future family! I'm Daphne - a beautiful 7 year old girl with amazing yellow eyes and a calm voice.

At first I can be a bit shy and a little timid around strangers, but I'm curious and brave and as soon as I feel safe I'm very affectionate and sweet.

Loud noises can make me feel uneasy, so a calm person or family with older children would suit best. I never lived with a dog and I would prefer to be your only cat.

When the woman I live with gives me ear scratches, cheek and back rubs I'm on cloud 9. I sleep on the end of her bed or on the cat tree to have a good nap.
I'm not a lap cat and don't particularly like to be picked up but being outside in the enclosed area, playing with strings and chase balls is super exciting.

Wet food is not so yummy for me, I'm just into dry food and especially treats. I'm very clean and toilet trained.

I will make someone very happy as I’m a great companion. Is that you?

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.

The adoption fee of $300 includes desexing, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
