SEEKING A SPECIAL SINGLE LADY!
- Meet Daphne! A beautiful 7-year-old girl with striking yellow eyes and a calm, gentle voice.
- She's looking for a very special home with a single woman. Due to difficult experiences in her past, Daphne isn't comfortable around men and will thrive with someone who can help her feel safe and secure.
- When meeting new people, Daphne can be a little shy and timid at first. But she's also curious and brave, and once she feels comfortable, her affectionate and sweet nature shines through. Ear scratches, cheek rubs and back massages are the way to her heart!
- While Daphne isn't a lap cat and doesn't particularly enjoy being picked up, she loves being close to her person. She enjoys sleeping at the end of the bed or curling up on her cat tree for a peaceful nap.
- A calm, quiet home would suit Daphne best, as loud noises can make her feel uneasy. She'd be happiest with a calm person or a family with older children. Daphne has never lived with a dog and would prefer to be the only cat in the home.
- She enjoys spending time outside in a secure enclosed area and loves playing with string toys and chase balls. When it comes to food, dry biscuits and treats are her favourites, while wet food isn't really her thing. Daphne is also very clean and fully litter trained.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.

The adoption fee of $275 includes desexing, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
