Hello everyone, my name is Murphy and I've just been busted out of jail (aka the pound) after eight long days by the SAFE Broome team. I ran around and jumped for joy, I rained little puppy kisses all over the human who collected me.

She took me home with her for a little while to wait for my new foster carer and I had so much fun exploring and playing with the big dog. He is so big and strong I thought he could eat me if he wanted to but I gave him a serve back, I was not afraid to get in there with him. I don't know who was more tired, him or me.

But what I loved more than anything was big snuggles with the SAFE lady, you see whilst I like other dogs I absolutely love humans. I'm happiest when I'm sitting on your lap or on the sofa beside you snuggled in. I was also happy to get cuddles from the man as you can see by my photos. My new foster mum says the same, that I just want to be loved.

I know how to sit already and I'm toilet trained and I even go to bed and sleep through the night without whining. I'm described as being very well mannered for a boy that was found on the street. Of course you will need to teach me lots more but I'm a very quick learner and really keen to please. I think I need a home where I'm not on my own too much, I'd like to be either with my human or an older doggie mentor. Most of all I need somebody to love and love me back. I will be your best friend and companion if you are that person.
