About Ember 🍁
Hi! My name is Ember and I'm a 6 month old Australian Cattle dog x Kelpie. Foster mum reckons I am the prettiest girl she has ever seen.
I love hanging out with my doggie friends and playing with my brother. I LOVE toys and I have found toys that foster mum thought had been lost forever! I also LOOOOVE shoes, especially when the hoomans come running after me telling me I'm a cheeky monkey. But...my most favourite thing in the world, is to get a nice long scratch behind my ears....I could just fall asleep.
I did not have any training before coming into foster care and I was very scared the first time I got a collar and lead put on. Foster mum has been super patient and consistent and now I walk nicely on a lead, although I do still sometimes need reminding that I'm a brave girl. I need a family who will continue to train me every day and help build my confidence so I can grow up to be a confident, happy girl.
I am learning my name and to come when I am called. I have just started to learn how to 'sit' and we are working on 'drop'. I am happy to go into my quiet area at night with my brother and I sleep through the night without any fussing. I am also crate trained and will happily rest there after a big play. Foster mum says I am doing an excellent job.
I am excited to find my forever home. Most kinds of families would suit me as long as they understand the mental and physical stimulation needs of my breed and are committed to ongoing training, especially since I am still a pup. I am a pretty sociable girl so I would love to have doggy siblings, but most of all, I'd like a family who will love me and include me in their lives.
If this sounds like you, then please send in your email application now! Love and Licks...Ember
I'm located in The Oaks (Sydney) and all ready to meet my new family.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
