About Charlie
Charlie (and the Chocolate Factory!) is a beautiful pound boy. Hard to picture him behind bars, huh? He ended up there through no fault of his own - simply the result of a family dispute and having very young owners.
Charlie is probably around 10-12 months of age now and as you can see, he is about as handsome as a doggy gets! Plus he has a gorgeous, gentle and sweet nature to boot! In fact, Charlie's got it all!
Charlie is toilet trained and has all the basic commands down pat - sit, drop, wait, stay, shake. He even waits for the "okay" before eating. Charlie has learnt to be patient and tolerant in his short life. While he loves to play and get crazy with the best of them, he is able to be calm and quiet as well. Quite an achievement for a youngster like him!
We get the feeling that Charlie may have missed out on the all important feeling of security that comes with stability, consistency and predictability. He has experienced a lot of changes in his life already.
Charlie loves other doggies and kids, but more than anything he loves to be cuddled and seems to be most reassured by calm adult interaction. While he would suit just about any household, he needs to have that someone who he can connect with. Someone who has the time & inclination to make sure that Charlie feels safe, secure and loved.
Charlie is super clever and learns very quickly! So, if that someone special was also prepared to spend some time coaching Charlie, then the sky is the limit! We could be looking at the next Rin Tin Tin!
We would encourage anyone who likes the sound of this gorgeous & versatile boy to come and meet him. You won't be disappointed. Charlie is THE BEST!!!
