Hi, I’m Jake and I’m looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I like both male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (so that I cant dig out)
• Lots of love and attention

Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• LOVE people
• Love being on a persons lap
• Very people orientated
• Happy to hang out with other dogs but not overly interactive
• I can sit
• Housetrained
• Gentle
• Social butterfly
• I walk well on lead
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be vocal when left alone - mental stimulation, a family who is home a lot and another doggy for company would be beneficial.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET Jake BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
