MR CHEEKY SEEKS PERMANENT FOSTER HOME

"Woof woof! My name is Rusty (aka Mr Cheeky).

You may have noticed my happy face and big smile but I'll let you in on a secret... The camera guy told me that this is my 'good angle' to try to hide my wide hips 🤔

Some people might call me fat but I call myself a "food connoisseur", given I am an expert in the field of food testing and tasting. With nearly 12 years under my belt [I mean collar], I have engulfed almost every tasty treat, delicious snack and human food. I have learned that the term "human food" is codeword for "human will make, then afterwards I ate". You're probably wondering but yes, I am reluctantly on a diet...

Despite my lifelong struggle with my weight (who can relate?), I do enjoy going for slow, daily walkies.

Being the old man that I am, when I want something I might verbally 'ask' you for it. I wear my heart on my nose and I LOVE to play with toys.

I get the sads when my people aren't around so I might bark if I am left alone for too long. I may get along with another dog of a similar size to me if they leave me alone and I am not a huge fan of cats. I am a clever boy and I can sit (but I get a bit excited so I don't stay for too long!) and I can shake hands like a gentleman.

All the food and my vet bills will be sorted by Animal Welfare League NSW for the rest of my life, all I ask for is a home where someone will love me." - love Mr Cheeky (aka Rusty).
