About Sirius
Hi there, I’m Sirius – Sirius Black! I’m a big boy, but don’t let my size fool you – I’m a true softie at heart and I love nothing more than resting my head on you to ask you for lots of gentle pats. It’s the greyhound version of a hug!
I’m quite a polite and quiet boy, and you might have noticed one of my most adorable features is my overbite – the volunteers tell me it gives me such a cute smile! It certainly doesn’t stop me eating though, I just can’t get enough of food – if you need a taste tester at your house, I’m definitely happy to help with that!
I get along well with other dogs, so I’m happy to share my home with one of them. What do you say? "Sirius-ly" (gafaw) I could be your new best friend!

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
