Storm ~ German Shepherd puppy (On Trial 27/2/20)

Hi everyone my name is Storm and I’m a playful 10 week old, male, German Shepherd Puppy. I love being around my humans, and have also spent a lot of time outside playing with my foster siblings, but most of my attention has been won by my brother. I am very cheeky and playful and am easily excited. I love a good scratch behind the ears and this calms me down.

After only a few days in care I am walking on a lead for a short distance before I get tired. I still need reminding to go out to the toilet but am working very hard on this. I’m learning to sit before I get fed and I’m learning how to shake too.

I am currently sleeping inside but spend most of my day outside playing and exploring. I really do love my humans and their children and love to play with them.

I’ll grow up to be a large sized dog, and would need to attend puppy training classes and continued obedience training due to my size. I’m at the puppy stage where I’m biting a lot and chewing things so I need consistency in my training. I would also need to go to a family that know I will need to have a lot of exercise and mental stimulation or I will get bored.

As I love my humans so much I’d love to go to a home where I am welcomed inside and be involved in my new family’s life. It would be great if someone worked part time in the household, particularly if there isn’t another dog to hang out with. You will need good fencing with no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire) is not suitable.

I can’t wait to meet my forever family!

My siblings are also in foster care.

As Storm is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Singleton, Central Coast and Port Stephens area because he’ll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he is 5 months old.

Storm's adoption fee is $700 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he’s been treated for fleas and worms.
