About Bailey ~ lovely mixed breed puppy (On Trial 7/3/20
Bailey is about twelve weeks old and he is as sweet and Chocolaty as the liquor he is named him for. He is a mixed breed puppy with some bull terrier and possibly some kelpie and/or pointer. He behaves a lot like a pointer and loves water!
Yes, he may look Black but he is really the most stunning Chocolate colour with a silky, short, easy care coat. Did I mention that he is a Number 1 smoocher? Extremely loving, rolls over for a belly pat, lots of kissing and interaction with his family.
Bailey will be a medium size dog as his paws are not too big. He is a busy, active, fun loving guy, but knows how to chill, just the most gorgeous pup. He would love a youngish medium size dog to wrestle and run zoomies with.
This puppy has to be one of the most laid back pups. He is toilet trained and even goes out in the recent wet weather to toilet which my eight year old Kelpie will not do! Bailey Sits, is learning Drop and Waits to go into his crate to have his meal as it's good for puppies to be able to chill out in a crate.
Bailey doesn't really jump up and he's not a biter (he does nibble like puppies of course) and sometimes takes shoes, toilet rolls, but he's not a destructive puppy. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Bailey would be suitable for a family with children over about eight years old and parents who realise that the children will not really be looking after the dog!
As Bailey is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Bailey, please email John at johnpgid@yahoo.com.au . Bailey is in Medowie (north of Newcastle, NSW). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Bailey's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.
