About Kaia DL518
Kaia has the biggest smile and a tail that never stops wagging! This resilient girl has an endless supply of love to give. Give her pats and scratches and she is all yours.
Kaia is a delight around the home. She’s quiet and placid and doesn’t dig, chew, bark, or destroy things! She makes herself comfy on the couch while you're out and will have a good snooze instead. Kaia isn’t interested in toys, but she’s become quite the foodie.
Kaia’s favourite things are belly rubs, pats, walks, drives, and people-watching. She adores being around people of all ages, even gentle when meeting babies and elderly friends. She can calmly sit or lie by your feet and would make an excellent companion dog with her grounding presence.
A smart girl, Kaia knows cues like “sit”, “shake”, “wait”, “on your bag (bed)”, and “come”. She is working on “stay” and “drop”. She gently jumps to up to say hi, but listens when you tell her down. She walks well on lead, though will pull if she spots something interesting, so you'll need a strong arm & the ability to work on this with her.
Kaia has been friendly with most dogs, however she does need continued work on her social skills and manners around new dogs. She may suit a male play mate at home, pending introduction. Cats may be too exciting.
Kaia is best suited to someone who is home more often, and has another dog for company. Regular runs at the park or a long walk each day will be ideal. She is house-trained and happiest spending time indoors with you.
If you'd love to meet Kaia, email DFL today to apply!
Medical notes
Kaia has hormone related incontinence and skin allergies (paws). Medication helps to manage her incontinence & will be ongoing. Can leak a little overnight or when excited. Has had an injection to help manage allergies.
