About Comet
My name is Comet. I was surrendered into DCH care in November 2019. When I arrived my carer noticed I had pyoderma around my mouth. I am on medication and it is now currently healed. I am currently being weaned off my meds however If the pyoderma returns I may need to take the meds for the rest of my life to control it. It will most likely be April that I can move to my forever home.
I am looking for a forever home with someone who is home a lot. I love human company. I spend all day with my carer whilst she works at home and at night as well. I love to sit on the lounge next to her with my head on her lap. I am toilet trained in the house. I will stand at the door when I need to go out for a toilet break. I will sleep Through the night and Not bother you.
I am looking for a home that has no Other pets. I like to receive all the attention. I can be intolerant of other dogs though I currently live with the resident dog and he doesn’t bother me. I chase cats so a cat free home is a must. I would most likely also want to chase other small pets as chasing these animals is part of my breed. I would be most suited to a quiet home. I can be a little unsettled by strangers in my home.
I love my daily walks. I am still Very active. I have been diagnosed with a heart murmur. My murmur is non clinical and so at present it doesn’t affect my quality of life.
If you feel your home may be suitable for me please contact my foster carer via EMAIL and provide some details around your home environment. If we sound like a match then we can arrange a meet And greet. I am located At Revesby.
I am desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and have been flea and worm treated.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
