About:
Penelope and her two siblings came into BFF care on new years eve. They were estimated to be between 5-6 weeks old but weighed 1/3 of their size. Little Penelope was only 166g and fitted in the palm of my hand. She was so emaciated we weren’t sure if she would survive, but this little lady showed her true strength and little by little she gained weight and started looking like a normal kitten. She is now a gorgeous healthy kitten, although she is very small for her age due to the rough start she had.
Penelope has a sleek medium length black coat with crazy tufts of fur behind her ears that gives her kind of a “crazy professor” appearance. She loves to be cradled like a baby against your chest, and reaches up her little paws to touch your face which will seriously melt your heart. She would be more than happy to be carried around all day while she purrs contently.
Penelope may be tiny, but she keeps up with her brother and sister and does not let them boss her around.
There is something special about Penelope – something that makes you go “ahhh” when you see her, she really is a special little soul.
