Ridge

I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Ridge put on his 'cute little man' pose for his photo and, not only is his charm hard to resist but he has a lot to offer in other ways. As a puppy living in the northern territory with many others just like him he has shown he is a standout. Ridge loves to play and almost bounces from side to side! he is a smart, brindle coloured puppy, showing he can learn by following the puppy rules and learning new words everyday like 'sit' and 'come'. Ridge is still young and therefore will need some guidance but, with his quick learning ability, that will be no problem and you may even be able to teach him a trick or two!

update 23 august: ridge, ridgie didge or ridgey. . . . It doesn't matter how you call ridge he comes bouncing in or sometimes even marches, his front legs going left, right, left, right, making a very funny sight indeed! ridge is a happy-go-lucky sort of puppy who loves squeaky toys and absolutely adores to be cuddled. He is not as fast as the other puppies and prefers not to run amok but just plays at his pace. Ridge also enjoys sleeping and often just crashes out on the lawn or in a chair on your lap after playtime. He is so laid back that nothing seems to phase him. Even though ridge is still young he learns quickly and has already doing well at his house training. He sleeps through the night and gets up around 7am each morning. Ridge is great with other dogs but prefers the big dogs as they don't seem to pick on him. He is gentle and playful with cats and enjoys being carried around like a baby by younger children. It's quite hard to explain ridge because well he's just ridge! he's so contented ,quiet and no trouble whatsoever and has all the puppyness with out the naughtyness. Ridge is one of a number of puppies available for adoption from a remote community in the northern territory. Their rescuer raises the most wonderful pups. . . . All are different, all are blends of numerous different breeds and are very healthy young dogs with great temperaments. These puppies have been well socialised with other dogs, people, children and the 20 or so that have been rehomed in sydney to date have been great with cats as well. All our 'desert puppies' are available for adoption outside nsw. Ridge comes desexed (when old enough), microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $360 each.
