Hello everyone, my name is Jessie!

I'm a sweet and gentle older gal looking for the perfect place to call home. Since arriving at the shelter the vet team here have been busy making sure I'm healthy and ready for my new home. I've had a couple of lumps removed that luckily for me were non-cancerous. Being an older girl, it would be wise to make sure I get regular vet checks, this way I can stay fit and healthy for as long as possible!

I'm hoping to find a family that has experience with shy/more timid dogs - it may take me some time to settle in. I would prefer an older family with no children, someone nice and quiet where I can relax and slowly gain my confidence. I could possibly go home with a male dog that is similar to my size, pending a meet. I'm not a huge fan of big dogs, they scare me a little, especially if they come rushing up to me at the park.

If you have the time and patience to introduce an older lady like me into your home then I would love to meet you. In time, I promise I will be a great companion to you once we have some mutual trust.
