About Teddy ~ 1.5yo Pomeranian x (On Trial 23/2/20)
Teddy is a cute, one and a half year old, 3kg Pomeranian cross. He has a very gentle and playful nature and loves to keep you company wherever you go, and loves to snuggle up to you on the lounge at night.
Teddy came to us very frightened, underweight and needing a bath. After a bath and a grooming session he has transformed into an adorable little boy. Teddy can be very timid and nervous meeting new people but settles well after a while. He is happy to meet our neighbour's Schnauzer and gets along well with our two Border Collies who come to visit several days each week.
Teddy likes to play with his toys and will retrieve a ball with glee. He sleeps at night inside our laundry. He will toilet outdoors if he has access, and we use a wee mat at night which usually does not get used.
Teddy leads well on a walk and travels at a brisk pace. He is still a bit unsure of his surroundings but gains more confidence every day we go out. He travels well in a car and has been on longer trips with no issues.
His loves his dry food with chicken necks or wings as well, as this is ideal for keeping his teeth clean to prevent teeth cleaning costs in the future.
Teddy would suit a female who is home most of the time. He doesn’t like males and is extremely timid and will need a lot of TLC. He loves other dogs and would be ok with another small dog for company.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
