About Spud ~ sweet Cattledog x puppy (On Trial 21/3/20)
Hi my name is Spud and I am a 12 week old Australian Cattle Dog X puppy. I love following my humans around the house and playing with my ball and my favourite teddy bear.
I love nothing more than chilling out and getting belly rubs on the couch and going on backyard adventures with my toddler friend. Sometimes I like to get up to mischief and steal the toilet rolls out of the toilet and chew them into a million pieces. Luckily my foster Mum doesn't seem to mind as she understands that puppies can be cheeky sometimes!
My foster mum thinks I'm pretty clever as I can use a doggy door and do poo outside, sometimes I forget to wee outside so need to be prompted but I'm getting the hang of it as I'm a super quick learner. My foster family are currently teaching me to sit and finding it easy as I'm very food orientated.
I sleep in a doggy bed in the lounge room and I didn't even whimper on the first night with my foster family. My foster family thinks I'm the sweetest boy and that any family would be lucky to have me in their lives.
I'll grow up to be a medium sized dog, and would need to attend puppy training classes and continued training. I would also need to go to a family that know I will need to have lots of exercise and mental stimulation.
I'm currently in foster care with 3 children 6 & under and I love kids. My foster family are home lots which is great but when they are out I cope very well. I love being around other dogs and would love a brother or sister to show me the ropes. I need to be welcomed inside when people are home and be allowed to be involved in my new family's life. You will need good fencing and no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (eg: Mesh or wire) is not suitable.
I'm so excited to meet my forever family!

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
