About Marcia
ADOPTION PRICE REDUCED
Mumma Marcia
Mumma Marcia is the epitome of a good mum with unlimited patience. Mother to our Blinky Bill litter, she was named after Marcia the fearless mouse in the show. She birthed and raised her litter under a house, with a kind tenant feeding her until they reached out to us for help.
Marcia has always been a friendly, affectionate cat since we got her. She is fearless and a protector of her babies. The look of relief on her face when we got her to safety in a house her foster carers can’t forget. She let them know how much she appreciated the help by head booping, purring and meowing to them and allowing us to look after her babies with complete trust. She has stolen the heart of her foster carers completely!
She is only a young cat herself, around 18 months old. Now all of her babies have been weaned and vet worked themselves, This hard working Mumma is completely deserving of a forever retirement home. She seems to have lived in a house at some point in her young life and is completely litter trained. She is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. Having someone around more often than not would be good, but if not, she would be happy with a warm spot in the window and the TV left on.
She likes to sit with you while you’re on your phone or watching a show, especially if you have your hand resting on her or giving her pats. She just wants to be where you are and will have great chats with you too.
She has met dogs and has a mixed reaction (that is probably due to being protective of her kittens), so a slow introduction to a gentle dog would be best. The same with any other cats. She has also been living with toddlers and she loves them. She would make the perfect family cat!
Marcia is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and is waiting for her forever home that she deserves! If you think this could be you, please Let is know. She is being fostered on the Central Coast of NSW and her adoption fee has been lowered to $50
