About Karen
Karen came into care as a very young mumma with four kittens. She was scared and skittish. She was also super protective of her little ones like any good mumma!
With patience and gentleness, Karen is now starting to relax and feel more confident. She may not yet like a cuddle, but will now happily approach you for an affectionate brush-past, or even a head boop.
Care must be taken when transporting as she is suffering from past trauma and will lash out if knows she's being picked up to be crated.
Karen has started playing with her kittens, and when relaxed looks more like a kitten herself. She was shy and nervous at first but quickly became friends with our other older cat, and gracefully tolerates a small and a large dog, as long as they don't get too excited by meeting her. Karen is also very curious but not at all aggressive towards other small animals – rabbits and rats. She graceful lounges in the midst of a room to observe the goings-on around her.
This absolutely gorgeous young lady needs a forever home where she can be given the time and patience to allow her to really come out of her shell.
Medical notes
Karen is a happy, healthy cat. She is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treated.
