About Mia ~ 9 month old Jack Russell (on trial 12/2/20)
Hi, my name is Mia! I am a 9-month-old wire hair Jack Russell. Everyone tells me I’m a very pretty girl and who am I to disagree! I am very playful and I love to roll over to get a belly scratch from everyone I meet! I absolutely love to play and I get along great with other dogs. I have a very sweet nature and love cuddles and all the attention I can get.
I can be quite nervous when meeting new people but my foster mum is helping me work through my anxiety. Sometimes I wet myself with excitement but I am getting better with this. I am working on house training but it doesn’t come without accidents. My new family will have to be aware that I still require some training but I’m a smart girl and am slowly learning.
Other than being a good guard dog and barking when strangers arrive at the house I am a quiet girl and easy to care for. I love my food and I’m not fussy about what you feed me. I show no signs of food aggression with other dogs but if I go to a home with another dog I will have to be supervised while eating as I like to steal my foster siblings’ food at dinner time.
I love to run and I have lots of energy but I also love to chill out beside you on the lounge and have a cuddle. My ideal family would be someone who is willing to put time into training me as I’m still just a young girl. I love lots of attention and a family with lots of love to give and time to spend with me would be perfect. I need to be welcome inside and I would love a soft bed of my own.
If you would like any further info about me, feel free to send my foster mum an email - nsharkey73@hotmail.com

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
