About Nina
Little Nina Poo.
She is your typical staffy who is full on bulldozer but doesnt last long until she is sound asleep on the lounge.
Nina loves her walks. Currently we have the luxury of acreage to do off leash walking. She enjoys nothing more than swimming in the dams, fetching the stick or scaring the ducks away. The odd rabbit is fun to chase but don't worry she has no chance to get close to catch them. Her stamina will keep going with you but by the end of a good walk she will be eating your dust.
On lead walks Nina can be a steam train wanting to smell everything and travel as far as she can, if her handler is not strict. If the intention is a heel walk she will, with strong reminders. She can get over excited if a dog is seen during her walk. She will need an owner that is strong and will correct her. On walks passing other dogs she is happy to say hi however avoid the fluffys, the fluffy fur is just too much fun.
Nina can be dog social. She enjoys her walks with other dogs however does not care for them. She doesn't want to play or really engage; she is more excited about exploring. However, she doesn't take kindly to a dog that doesn't play her rules. She is not the dog to go to your local dog park or offlead areas. We are looking for a home that doesn't want a social dog or live in a busy area with lots of dogs.
Nina does listen rather well to her owner. She thrives on routine and expectation. When being greeted coming home, her goal is to kiss your nose but does stop the moment you say it's not okay.
Nina is a snorehead. The sounds that come from her while she sleeps are actually really therapeutic. Knowing she is so relaxed, just rubs off on you. She is crate trained and can sleep in a crate or happily on the lounge or in your head if you're willing to share.
Nina loves the car and travels well. Food is her bestie. She will listen to anything for food.
Nina is looking for the best life, one where she can have the human attention all to herself. An owner that just wants to go for a daily walk and be allowed to enjoy the luxuries of inside. A family that are confident dog owners that are going to spoil her like she deserves.
She will not suit a city life being confronted with dogs. She will not suit a unit. She needs secure fencing. She wants to be the only pet in the home. She is not suited to a new dog owner.
Please note: Nina is an assisted rehoming dog. She is still with her owner and in no rush to find a new home. The owner wants to work with her future home to ensure it is perfect in all aspects.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
