About Lux! *On Trial In Her New Home*
*LUX IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* We should’ve renamed this pup “Hi-Lux” once we discovered her passion for car travel; Lux just loves going for a spin so much so that sometimes she doesn’t want to get out!!! She’d love a home with a similar-sized playful dog for company; will it be with you?
Laidback Lux has a fantastic temperament and has shown no aggression at all while in foster care with 3 other dogs especially when food and toys are involved; sharing is caring! She’s even good with the household cat just wanting to play. Lux is calm and rarely jumps up on humans making her ideal around dog-savvy children. Our vets describe her as a “sweet dog”.
This intelligent dog knows “sit” and will wait until her carer says “Ok” before tucking into her food. She has also learnt “play time” which is the command for Lux and her carers’ dogs to head out to the lawn for some wrestling or chaseys. Lux also likes to play tug-o-war with humans and will fetch toys and balls - she will willingly bring these items back so the game continues. During the hotter months, Lux loves to splash about under the sprinklers or in her carer’s fish-less fish pond so a doggie pool in her forever home is a must!

This chilled-out pup would love a home where she can enjoy an indoor/outdoor lifestyle and be part of the households’ goings on. Lux is quite well-behaved inside but will need some supervision in the kitchen where her aspirations to be a chef kick in as she tries to sneakily stretch up to the bench to help with dinner prep!
Lux rarely barks and isn’t at all licky or in your face – her gentle nature makes her a pleasure to be around. She’s a real mixed bag when it comes to genetics and is made up of Rottweiler, Staffy, Johnsons Bulldog and Labrador, but hey it works!
If you’ve got the time and love to continue bringing up ‘Lovely Lux’ then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
