About George
Georgey boy is just absolutely divine. These glorious raccoon- tailed teddy bear cat and his beautiful brother Mickey came to us when they were found abandoned in a park in Sydney's Hills district. They are bith about 6 months old. They have the most lovely soft and affectionate personalities, and they get along very well with other friendly cats. They've been in foster care with two other lovely adult cats who they've really enjoyed interacting with.
They're very playful and they adore toys, especially little mice on a string and jingly balls. They adore pats and are very smoochy, they also love sleeping on the end of the bed and they're very good sleepers! Mickey and George would like to stay together but they'd also be happy to go to different families as long as they have another kitty or doggo friend to hang out with, or plenty of human company. They are both very social kitties and they love company.
The boys have had access to a beautiful outdoor courtyard which is safely enclosed with Catmax mesh, and they'd love to have this option again. It's a fantastic way of giving your cats fresh air and outdoor playtime knowing that they are safe and cannot escape the garden. However they are happy to be indoor only cats if you are unable to provide safe and contained outdoor access :)
George is a striking charcoal tabby and white Domestic medium hair. His coat is like plush velvet, just absolutely gorgeous.
The boys have been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated.
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
