About Diego
Diego (pink collar) and his litter came to us when they were just 6 weeks old. They were born in a garden in Sydney's Inner West, left vulnerable in the sweltering heat. They've been handled by the lady who was feeding their stray mother cat since they were born, so they're extremely confident and affectionate with people.
Diego and his two brothers all looked identical when they first came in, so we had to put little coloured collars on them to tell them apart! Diego craves human interaction the most out of his litter- he meows for cuddles and purrs so contently when you hold him. He loves giving little smooches when you put your face up to him and he's already a head-bump extraordinaire!
Diego has a very fair complexion and a pink nose so he will need to be strictly indoors, or in a shaded cat enclosure.
Please read our adoption policy below carefully :)
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious diseases. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
