About Burty
Burty is as his breed standard says. Smart, Determined, Cheeky, Playful, He hasn't had a huge amount of socializing with other dogs, but is making up for lost time now. He definitely requires a playmate who can keep up with him and not be intimidated by his bold little character.
"The Aussie is a lively outgoing terrier that loves human company. They are small but very sturdy, having been bred to be able to jump and run. There is a lot of character and terrier temperament in this small dog. They are busy little dogs that will do what they can to please. They differ from some other terriers in that they have a long neck and back. Their coats are harsh and straight on top and shorter and softer underneath."
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service?account=rc0442&method=online_form_html&formid=16
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we may arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The four week trial begins on the day of adoption.
We prefer payment by funds transfer or cash and don't accept personal cheques.
