About Sherman
Hi, I'm Sherman and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• I am used to being allowed inside & outside so must go to a home where i am allowed the same.
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I like both male and female dogs
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Happy to live with children
• I am super social and used to going to doggy daycare regularly at Paradise Pet Parks and playing all day long with my friends, I would love a family that will allow me to be able to continue to go to doggy daycare.
• I appear to be scared/timid around work boots - so a family that will help desensitize me with this issue and teach me that I will not be hurt is a must.
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
My best features:
• LOVE people
• I LOVE kids
• Very people focused and responsive
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• I can sit & stay when asked
• I am housetrained
• I LOVE my toys and playing fetch
• Food motivated
• Wiggle butt
• Gentle
• Social butterfly
• I walk well on lead
• I have great recall and am able to be walked off lead (once I get to know you of course)
• I wag my tail up & down instead of side to side 💙
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
