My perfect home would be a kind and gentle single or couple who want companionship and a daily stroll together. I want to be indoors with you and enjoy a snuggle but not a bit fuss.
Some time ago I received a nasty scratch to my eye and this has left a scar which has impaired my vision. I also had severe ear infections which were apparently left untreated for so long it has impacted on my hearing. The vet kindly gave me a little operation and cleaned my ears right out and treated the infection. As I have lived in pain to my ears for so long, I am not very comfortable having them touched and this is the reason behind my preference not to share a home with children. I do, however, love gentle kids. Our dogs available for adoption are all living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an application we will be in contact with you.
Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.
Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
