About Louis 🍖
Who doesn't love a Kelpie! This handsome, affectionate boy is the ultimate package....Louis is currently being fostered on a property and attends Doggie Daycare on a daily basis at his foster home. He is very well socialised with other dogs and hoping to find an active family who understand the working dog breed and their needs. Louis would love another active doggie companion in his new home and would be best suited to a large yard or property.
Louis is a well bred Kelpie who can work a small mob of sheep and also be an active pet. He's very affectionate and cuddly, has great recall (even with distractions) and walks well on lead. He loves his training sessions and absolutely adores his humans!
The Kelpie breed are fully capable of performing many dog sports, search & Rescue, nose work, service dog duties and more. They have high energy and high exercise needs, and while they are able to handle doing a job with little supervision, they need human companionship and direction. They are always ready to work and happiest when given a job to do. They do not cope well being left on their own for long periods of time.
Louis is currently living outside in his foster home and is crate trained. He has been exposed to children of all ages and is great with them. He's a gentle soul who loves the companionship of both his people and other dogs.
If you're committed to providing Louis with the best life, ongoing training and companionship, we would love to hear from you. His vet work is now complete and Louis is ready to find his Forever home. He's currently located in Wyee on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
