About Lara
Meet Lara, also known as Lovely Lady Long Legs Lara. She ended up in care after being left unclaimed in the pound. We still don’t understand why?
But now she’s looking for her forever home. And she will make someone very happy.
She is currently on a rural property, and has never shown signs of wanting the leave the yard, and suits this environment (there is cattle, horses, chooks, skippies, wild rabbits and all the things rural properties have, and she’s never shown signs of leaving the farm fencing to investigate further). She would also do well in town, providing she was given regular outings to allow her legs to have a run.
She is fantastic with other dogs. And she must have another dog in the home to live with, as she definitely enjoys the company, and does not like being separated.
She took a little time to settle into her foster home routine, but now she has she’s absolutely perfect and ready for her new home. But see needs someone who is patient with her while she learns her new routine.
She is house trained, and is a very soft dog. She loves people, and has been great kids, from under 2 through to teenagers. She has not been tested with cats.
