About Holden
It’s time for the world to meet Holden! If his carer could describe him in one word it would easily be “perfect”! Everything about this puppy screams perfection from his eye catching looks, to his beautiful demeanor and especially his happy go lucky attitude.
Nothing phases this boy. From loud vacuum cleaners, to lawn mowers and even scary storms this boy just always seems to be very cool, calm and collected. In saying that, don’t think you’ll miss out on cute crazy puppy behaviour because when you want him to play boy does he play ! He loves nothing more than playing fetch, tug rope with his foster brothers or a good old game of bitey face.
While in care Holden has been exposed to all sorts of different places, people and animals. He loves lying under the table at coffee shops and sits politely if people come up and say hello (which is ALL the time!). He plays very well with other dogs of all ages and sizes. He has met a couple of cat and finds them absolutely fascinated so given proper introductions we think he would be fine living with cats.
Holden’s training has been coming along nicely and he knows how to sit, drop, wait for his food, walk nicely on a leash and listens well if he is doing something naughty and you tell him to stop. His toilet training is almost there and he usually holds onto it overnight but has to occasional accident if you don’t let him out in time. Holden’s new family should be committed to ongoing training and initially enroll in puppy school to help with creating that initial bond.
Holden has been fed a high quality pre-made raw diet while in care and he is thriving. His new owner should be prepared to continue him on a high quality puppy food to ensure he is happy and healthy. He has moderate energy levels and is happy as long as he gets a walk or visit to the park or beach every day. His new family should be committed to ongoing socialisation with many dogs and new people to keep him the amazing dog he is!
We are searching for an extra special family for Holden as he is an extra special puppy. He will require a family that is going to include him in the family activities and allow him to be inside with the family. He sleeps on his own bed in his foster carers room and doesn’t make a peep. A family with another friendly resident dog at home will be preferred but otherwise a family with someone home most of the time.
If you think you are that extra special family we are searching for, for our gorgeous boy Holden then head on over to our Fetching Dogs website and fill out the adoption application as the next step of the process.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
