Hi, I’m Brix!

My foster mum describes me as a ‘sensitive soul’, whatever that means. I also get called Boofhead sometimes, but don’t let my size put you off – I’m really very gentle, I try my absolute hardest not to upset anyone or anything! Sometimes I accidentally knock things over and get a bit startled, I’m very sorry I don’t mean to. I guess I’m still learning how to use my body! I get a bit excited sometimes too when there are cuddles on offer, but I am only young after all and still have some growing and learning to do!

I love all people and dogs of all sizes, sometimes I am a bit clumsy but I think I’m pretty good by now at doggy playing manners – it’s SO much fun to make new friends isn’t it?! Speaking of manners, I am still learning some including walking loosely on lead, but I’m very good at sitting and even though I really want to eat straight away I will patiently wait for you to say it’s ok first. I’m trying really hard to learn new things but I get a bit confused sometimes.

I’m one of the lucky ones, I had a loving start to life but my family had to give me up so I could get all the love and attention I deserve. Right now I’m a bit confused by all the changes and it’s taking me some time to settle in, I’m looking for a lovely home that will be patient and kind and help me build up my confidence. I’ve started basic obedience training with Holdfast Dog Centre to help with this, but I’d really love to train with you!
