About Maxi & Mini
Maxi (7) & Mini (10) are bonded German Spitz couple.
This gorgeous duo came from a life relegated to the backyard, and have relied on each other for many years so need to stay together. Despite their age both are playful and active and ready for their new chapter with a loving forever home.
Theses beauties will require regular grooming to stay on top of their coat maintenance as they will be prone to matting. They will need some training (mostly Maxi) to build confidence with grooming, as its not something they are used to and will need regular brushing between grooms.
Maxi and Mini LOVE pats, but Maxi has proven to be a total cuddle bug. He can take a little while to warm up to you, but once he's got you figured out he's your lapdog for life. Mini is very inquisitive and a total water baby, looking for any chance to get her feet wet.
Both are housetrained and love learning new commands. They have had no training prior to coming to rescue, but are showing great promise so would love a family who will continue this work.
Neither Maxi nor Mini have had much in the way of toys, so don't quite know how to play yet, but we are sure in the right environment they'll figure it out.
These two need to go together, ideally to a pet free home. Maxi can be fearful and reactive towards other dogs, and they are not cat tested. They are roughly 10kg & 14kg.
Their adoption fee is a reduced combined fee, and includes desexing, microchipping and vaccination as well as dental. They are located in Fitzroy with their foster carer.
Medical notes
They recently had dentals, both requiring extractions but otherwise are in great healt
