About Stella ~ lovely Staffy x puppy (On Trial 18/2/20)
Stella is a beautiful 3 month old Staffy x puppy. She has a loving, gentle nature and will win you over with her big brown eyes.
Stella loves people and loves to be cuddled when she is tired. She has a big personality and loves playing with her foster sister Bella. She is very sociable with other dogs and is not reactive to cats. Stella has flourished since being rescued from death row with her siblings.
Stella would be suited to an active couple or family with older children who are prepared to put in the work to continue with her training and development. She would love another dog to keep her company but is also happy to amuse herself in the backyard. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Stella is intelligent and is working on basic commands. She sleeps alone at night and greets you with squeals of delight in the morning. You will need good fencing with no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (wire or mesh) is not suitable.
Stella will grow up to be a medium size dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
As Stella is not yet desexed she is only available for adoption in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Hunter Valley or Central Coast because she will need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Stella please contact Wendy at wendygermon@yahoo.com.au . Stella is in foster care in Maryville, NSW (Newcastle area). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Stella's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
