About Milly ~ 4yo Staffy x Cattle (On Trial 25/2/20)
This sweet girl is Milly! Milly is a 4 year old staffy x cattle. She is a gentle, lovable and affectionate couch potato. She is in need of a new home urgently, through no fault of her own.
Milly is very friendly, but not pushy. She loves human company and some good scratches. She loves to have her family in her sight and will bond strongly with her ‘special person’, so she can become a little worried when she is left alone for too long. She needs an understanding owner who can work with her to become more independent.
Milly loves tennis balls and toys. She very much enjoys chasing the ball, but doesn't always like to bring it back. She would love a family with space in the yard to play fetch.
Milly currently lives with a 3 year old child and she is very gentle. She may be suited to a home with children who are knowledgeable with dogs.
Milly is well behaved and knows the basic commands of sit, stay and wait. She can pull on the lead when walking and currently wears a Sporn Stop Pull Harness to assist with this, but she could use some additional walking training.
Milly can be hesitant of other dogs, but is fine with an introduction. She'd love all the attention to herself though. Milly has also previously lived with an adult cat who she got along with so she should be ok with cats with a proper introduction.
Milly currently sleeps inside and is toilet trained, and would love a family who would allow her to sleep inside.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
