Just like his namesake, Marmaduke is a big, goofy, lovable puppy.

He is an energetic boy who just loves to play. He is people and dog friendly, and is even interested in being friends with the resident cat! Due to his size and sprightly nature, he is best suited to a home without young children. He would love to go to a home where there is another playful dog for him to frolic about with however an active and inclusive family to give him lots of walks and affection would also suit.

Marmaduke is still growing and will be a very big boy, therefore will benefit from obedience training and ongoing socialisation to shape him into a well mannered adult. He has been working on his house training and is coming along nicely, even though being a puppy, he does still have the occasional accident. He is also being crate trained which is beneficial for him to recognise downtime and have a safe place to go to.

This exuberant lad enjoys his daily exercise and stimulating activities to keep him happy and grounded, otherwise he may channel it into jumping up in over excitement.
Whilst he is still a puppy, he doesn’t know his own size or strength, so it’s always play time for Marmaduke. He is very enthusiastic when meeting new people, so does need to improve his manners, but all he really wants is to be a loved member of the household.
