On Hold
About Odin
I AM CURRENTLY ON HOLD AS I AM MEETING A FAMILY SOON.
Hi my name is Odin I am 11 months old and still very much a puppy. I am full of energy and love to play, but I also love a cuddle and like to be close to my humans, I am a very loving boy. Don’t worry I will entertain you for hours on end with my playful antics, and I absolutely loves toys!
I get on well with other dogs, I want another young dog like me to play with in my forever home and I am quite good with the cat at my foster home. I didn’t have a lot of training before coming to Chihuahua Rescue, I was also left outside all the time and pretty much ignored, but I now know basic commands such as ‘come’ and ‘sit’ and I have improved a lot with my toilet training. I can become a little over excited and bark when visitors arrive at the house, but I have been working on this too. I will need a home that is committed to continuing my training while I am still young, and reinforcing all my good behaviour. I am crate trained and I will sleep happily in my den crate or playpen all night long.
If you would like to meet me, please also read my medical notes and send in an enquiry or fill out an expression of Interest, you will find that further down the page,I look forward to meeting you soon.
Medical notes
Odin is in good health and is up to date with vaccinations and flea, tick and worm prevention. He does have a condition called Carpal Valgus in his front legs, which means they point out slightly like duck feet. This may never cause him any problems, but as he ages they may worsen and need surgical repair, we hope this isn’t the case, but we like to be fully transparent so potential adopters are well informed.
