About Tardo
Hi my name is Tardo and I’m two years old. Life for me has been a little rough and I've been handed a few hurdles to overcome. I was born with a condition called congenital mega oesophagus MG, and unfortunately I ended up being surrendered as I was no longer wanted. Luckily a nice lady came along and helped me find a foster carer who I live with now. Together they found out that my condition wasn’t severe, some dogs have it really bad and I don’t. My foster mum says I can live a good life, just modified. She calls me "special needs" and says a big hearted person will come along one day and care for me for the rest of my days which will be many. Many people have given up on me but my foster mum doesn’t know what the fuss is about. Apart from feeding time where she has to help me a bit I’m the perfect dog! I’m toilet trained, I don’t bark, I don’t destroy things, I don’t dig holes and I don’t pull on the lead, I love other dogs, I really love kids and I love sleepy time. I love cuddles once I get to know you, I can be shy but please give me time and I’ll come round. I need a home with no livestock. I do have to take some medicine but it’s not expensive and it may not be forever. I do drool a bit, I’m sorry about that but my throat won’t always swallow it. I do tire easily but I can still play ball and go on walks, just not long ones. I hope someday I will find that one person who won’t give up on me, there’s gotta be someone out there for me too. My foster mum says I deserve all the love in the world, so if my new mum or dad is out there and they really want a good boy can you send these lovely people an email. We can talk and meet each other, my foster mum said she will help my new family with all the information they need for as long as they need it. Please help find the family I deserve. Tardo.
Tardo is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and parasite treated.

Adoption details
All of our animals are placed into foster care in a family type environment, which allows them to be exposed to various environmental factors such as cats, dogs, children, visitors, noises etc.
All of our animals have a health assessment. They are desexed, microchipped, receive their 1st F4 vaccination or C4 vaccination and have parasite treatment prior to going to their new homes. Once ready for adoption we look to find our fosters the most suitable home environment depending on their personalities and needs.
