About Scooby ~ Mastiff x Ridgeback pup (On Trial 9/2/20)
Scooby is a lovely, friendly, bouncy Mastiff x Ridgeback puppy who is an absolute pleasure to look after with his irresistible cuteness and affectionate nature.
Scooby has been raised in a home environment and has been well socialised with other puppies and people and gets along with them all. He loves people and cuddles. He enjoys romping with his siblings and he will follow you everywhere. Scooby is more timid than his brothers and he is a little shy. He needs some extra reassurance in new situations and he would be suited to someone with a calm and patient energy.
Scooby is very intelligent and easy to train and just wants to please. He loves his food and he will sit and wait for his dinner. He has learnt to eat out of his own dinner bowl and to not steal his siblings food. He is not yet toilet trained but he will learn quickly as he gets older. Scooby is teething and he likes to chew everything. He is going to grow into a very smart and energetic dog so ongoing training and socialisation is important. He will need a big yard with high secure fencing to keep him safe. No rural style fencing. He is a very healthy pup with lots of energy and he will need daily exercise outside the home to keep him both physically and mentally healthy and happy.
Scooby needs an owner who is home during the day and he would love a friendly, calm adult dog as a teacher and companion to keep him company. He would be too lonely on his own and he would be likely to get stressed.
Scooby needs to be welcome inside when people are home and to sleep inside at least until he is an adult. Due to his large size he is best suited for older children.
If you are after a loving, sweet and faithful companion then Scooby is the puppy for you.
