Hi, I'm Max and I'm waiting for my new family

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I can be very shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
Small children as they may accidently scare me

My best features:
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Gentle
I may be ok with rabbits & guinea pigs

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be erratic on the lead - training and walking me regularly should stop this
• Unsure in new situations - more socialising is needed
