Lila

Hi, I'm Lila and I'm looking for my new family.
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who’ll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• I am ok to socialize with other dogs but can get jealous so MUST be the ONLY dog at home
Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time
• Another dog
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
My best features:
• Gentle
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I may be ok with poultry and rabbits & guinea pigs
• Although I can be shy at first it doesn't take me long to warm up to people and show them love by snuggling up for cuddles.
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be strong on the lead – training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• Unsure in new situations – more socialising is needed
