About Slim Shady
🎤 THE REAL SLIM SHADY 🎤
May I have your attention please? I'm Slim Shady, the REAL Slim Shady! I haven't always lived an easy life, as you can see I look a little rough around the edges. I have always had to sneak around for food and take what I could get, which I guess led me to where I am today! I found myself stuck in this strange contraption one morning until a lady came to find me - she called herself a Mad Catter!? I wasn't too frightened by her and she did give a nice scratch behind my ear. But then I saw an opening and BAM I was outta there! Though food isn't always easy to find on the streets, and I found myself in the exact same place the next morning. So the Mad Catter said she would call me Slim Shady... while singing the words "I'm back". She was a little weird but hey, I guess we all are! And it is nice to have a name. To be a someone.
Not to blow my own whistle, but I really am a loving boy. I'd never lived with people before but they seemed okay. And the Mad Catter said she would find me my own person soon. That's when I met Lauren 😍 She says she is my foster mum. But I think she is an angel! Lauren knows how much I love a roast chicken and ear scratches, my two most favourite things in the world.
That Mad Catter from before sent me to a place where they took some things from me 😳🍒 but I stayed strong and made friends with the one they call The Vet. She wasn't all that bad, and I got some more ear scratches - lucky me! Foster mum says I'm just about ready to find my own family, which I think means I'm ready to meet more Lauren's 😍
I haven't had a chance to meet other cats just yet, but us street cats tend to get along well! I do live in a home with big dogs but I haven't mixed with them yet. Too busy eating roast chicken and stretching out on my new soft bed 🤷♂️ I'd love to meet more Lauren's and find a place where I can spend the rest of my days. Are you free this weekend to come and say hi? 😉

Slim Shady is getting more confident with people by the day, but will need time to transition between homes. He has lived in a house with two large dogs that he is aware of, but hasn't yet met. Slim Shady has not been introduced to other cats at this stage.
Slim Shady is available for a two week 'foster' trial period to allow him time to settle into his potential new home.
