About James
James is the boss, that was very clear from day one. If you're after a dominant boss kitty you've opened the right profile. James, Jam Jam, Jimmy Jam has definitely tested my knowledge of feline behaviour in the few weeks he has been in care.
He knows what he wants and he is willing to take it, directly from your mouth if he happens to want your steak dinner. - We are teaching james to be patient when we eat our food, and he is learning that it isn't ok to pester hoomans when they are eating. We use positive reinforcement such as treats and other rewards when he is being calm and not trying to take our food!
We have been working hard to set boundaries for our little Jimmy Jam and make sure he is the best kitty he can be so he can get adopted! James will need an understanding family, people who are willing continue working with him as he grows to make sure that he continues learning appropriate kitty behaviours.
Luckily he has been able to spend time with a litter of kittens similar to his age and they are teaching him what behaviours are acceptable!!! He knows now that biting hurts.
We can set you up with the right tools to help James along the way and help him become the best boss kitty he can be. He already has all the basics under his belt, He's perfectly litter trained, isn't a fussy eater and loves to play with people and other animals.
James would be best suited to an adult family without young children, teenagers would be fine.
If you think you can handle Jimmy Jam, please fill out our application form below and we can arrange a meeting! Please keep in mind that James can be a little shy when he first meets people, but once he knows you, he owns you!
Medical notes
James will be microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and desexed before being adopted.
