Gracie ~ 8mo Cattle x puppy (On Trial 3/2/20)

Gracie is a happy, friendly, 8 month old Cattle x pup who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She has a beautiful speckled black and white coat and big black ears that still have cute puppy floppiness to them.

Gracie is super smart and loves to learn. She is very food motivated so she is easy to train. She is house trained plus she is taking training classes and is currently mastering Sit, Drop, Roll Over, On your bed, Look, Leave it, Give and Settle. She responds well to her name. Gracie is learning to walk well on lead, she loves to sniff her way around the neighbourhood. She does get excited when she sees other dogs when out on a walk and will pull, but we are working on this.

Gracie is a medium sized pup who will be a medium/large size dog. She currently weighs 20kg and will grow a bit more. She currently lives with a 10 year old golden retriever and mostly gets on well with him, although her boisterous play is too much for him at times. She would be better suited with another friendly dog who doesn’t mind a bit of rough and tumble play. Gracie is not suited to a home with cats or birds as she tries to chase them.

Gracie is happy to chill outside when you are out, especially if she has something tasty to chew. She loves bones, Kongs stuffed with treats and ice cubes to munch. She will happily sleep inside on her bed (sometimes the couch) or outside in a kennel.

Gracie enjoys playing fetch and tug. She is not a nuisance digger or climber. She is good with kids, but it is recommended she goes to a home with kids over 10 as she could knock little kids over when she plays.

Gracie is a lovely dog who will make a great pet for someone willing to continue her training and give her daily exercise and mental stimulation. Gracie would also enjoy agility work or nose work.

Gracie's adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.
