About Ella! *On Trial In Her New Home*
*ELLA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Surrendered to us for rehousing, through no fault of her own, Ella is a calm, affectionate and gentle lady. As she adores company Ella is looking for a forever home with either a part-time worker, retirees or another dog for company if her humans were to be at work for most of the day; will it be with you?
Enchanting Ella acts calmly and affectionately around everyone. She gently approaches children of all ages and will lower her head for a pat. Ella loves affection and expresses her thanks for pats by giving your hand a little lick.
Ella can be quite shy/timid when meeting new dogs and cats, but bounds around playfully with everyone once she has had some time to get to know them. She gets along great with her current foster brother and sister; joining them for play sessions and naps in the sun.
Some of the things Ella likes include chewing on bones, playfully chasing birds, and paddling in a doggie pool during our warm Mildura weather; must be the Lab in her!
Ella would best suit an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. She is toilet trained, sleeps soundly through the night and displays calm behaviours when in the house. Ella sits, waits and comes when called. She loves food but waits for a sign before digging into a meal. She travels safely in vehicles and jumps into a car willingly. She calmly remains alongside you during walks and only barks for a reason making her a good watch dog.
If Ella sounds like the sweet, loving dog you’ve been searching for then please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
