About Bali
FOSTER TO ADOPT
I was reluctantly surrendered to Lort Smith when my carers moved into a small apartment and no longer had the time to provide me with the attention I crave. It was very sad but they knew that Lort Smith would help me find a more perfect home.
I have been given a thorough examination by the Lort Smith vets, including a full dental - be sure to check out my pearly white Staffy smile!
I currently have two small sores on my legs but I have a special cream for this and they are healing nicely. During my time in foster care, it has become very clear that I love, and need, human company. I get terribly lonely without a person around. For this reason, I am currently on calming medication for separation anxiety. It is hoped that I can be weaned off this once I am settled in my forever home. I will be adopted out with a medical disclaimer and the adoption team will be happy to fill you in.
I am a very loving, affectionate and gentle girl. I would love nothing more than going to a home where I will be able to reside indoors and be a part of a family. I adore human company so my ideal home would be with someone that works from home, can take me to work with them, or is retired. I don’t like being left alone at all! Did I mention that I make a great office dog? I will happily sleep at your feet all day long.
I'm great on lead, fully toilet trained, can use a doggy door, will eat whatever is put in front of me, take food gently, perfect in the car and absolutely love snuggles. I'll happily sleep in my own bed but don't need much encouragement to jump into yours.
My favourite things are people, walks and tummy tickles! My dislikes are thunderstorms, fireworks and being left alone.
I am okay with other dogs as long as we have the right introduction but can be prone to jealousy. I also show a little too much curiosity with cats so it's probably best that I go to a home with no other animals please.
I have previously lived with a young child and would be happy to do so again, as long as they are respectful, gentle and calm around me.
Oh and one more thing that adds to my fabulousness... I'm bilingual! Yep, I speak Spanish!
If you are ready to fall in love, and can offer me a lifestyle where I will have plenty of human company, then please contact the Adoption Hub - you are sure to adore me.
Medical notes
